Investing in Inclusion & Innovation: Meet FDD’s Newest 2025 Program Grantees

At the Foundation for Developmental Disabilities (FDD), we believe lasting impact begins where innovation meets inclusion. Every year, we proudly invest in innovative nonprofit partners that expand opportunities and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) across San Diego and Imperial Counties.

This grant cycle, we’re thrilled to award $74,870 in Program Grant funding to six (6) remarkable organizations whose creativity, compassion, and commitment to accessibility are helping transform lives. From adaptive arts to inclusive education, each grantee represents FDD’s mission in action — ensuring every person with an IDD has the tools and opportunities to thrive.

Empowering Change Through Partnership

At the Foundation for Developmental Disabilities (FDD), we know that actual impact extends far beyond financial support. Real change occurs when partnerships spark innovation, when communities unite around a shared vision, and when inclusion becomes an integral part of everyday life.

Our newest cohort of 2025 Program Grantees embodies this mission in action — leading bold, creative work that expands access, amplifies voices, and empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live with independence, dignity, and purpose. From inclusive education and workforce training to adaptive recreation and community connection, their work is transforming what’s possible for thousands across San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Each success story is a testament to what can be achieved when creativity, collaboration, and compassion come together — and every milestone is made possible by supporters like you.

Join us in fueling the future of inclusion.

Your generosity helps FDD continue investing in life-changing programs that open doors, remove barriers, and create opportunities for individuals and families in the I/DD community.
