About Us
The Foundation for Developmental Disabilities (FDD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that was established in 1986. Led by a distinguished board of directors and Sitara Sethi, our Chief Executive Officer, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) and their families in San Diego and Imperial Counties.

We offer grants to nonprofit organizations for programs serving individuals with IDDs, scholarships to students pursuing the IDDs field, and emergency funds to clients of the San Diego Regional Center.
